Description of the Programme:

Master’s Programme “East European Studies” targets Ukrainian and international students holding at least Bachelor degree in international relations, political science, European, regional or security studies, who are interested in pursuing either academic or professional career with specific focus on East European region.

The Programme provides students with profound knowledge of international relations in post-Cold War Eastern Europe, regional trends, East European nations’ foreign, security and regional policies. It is Europe-focused and designed to promote students’ capacity for scientific analysis of regional issues, especially by applying an interdisciplinary approach including elements of political, legal, economic and cultural studies.

Master’s Programme is focused on development of the academic basis and practical experience necessary for the experts in East European international politics and transnational relations. After completing the Programme the graduates may receive positions of analysts and experts at governmental authorities, non-governmental organizations and consulting firms dealing with the CIS regional issues.


Admission requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in International Relations/ Political Science/ Security Studies or related course
  • Good working command of English
