1. Economics (3.0)

The aim of the course "Economics" is the formation of students' competencies in the field of economics, development of the ability to apply received knowledge in professional activity in a globalizing world economy, ability to apply skills of analysis and evaluation of rapidly changing market conditions in order to make optimal management decisions and acquiring of practice of economic thinking and orientation in the world of market relationships. This course is the theoretical basis for the study of branches of economics, and the formation of student’s position in matters of economic policy. 

2. International Business (4.0)

The course provides a profound study of the types and forms of modern international business activities. Particular attention is paid to the organization and management in international business, technology policy of multinational corporations, and mechanism of providing diplomatic interests of Ukrainian business in foreign markets.

3. The economics and external economic relations of Ukraine (4.0)

The course "Economics and external economic relations of Ukraine" involves studying the basic characteristics and socio-economic conditions in economic transition on the limit of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries in Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to modern economic system formation in Ukraine, its objective necessity, content, conditions, systematic changes, contradictions and antagonisms.

4. International economic relations (4.0)

This course provides coverage of theoretical and practical aspects of modern international economic relations, research methods of its object. It focuses on the consideration and analysis of theories of international trade and modern forms of economic relations between the countries in conditions of economic globalization.

5. Public International Law (4.0)

The course focuses on the study of traditional themes such as concepts and characteristics of international law, sources, systems, principles and norms of international law. For students’ professional development they consider topics that allow them to move to specific analysis of international legal issues such as interaction of  international law with domestic law, Institute of international legal personality, recognition in international law, succession of States and others.

6. International relations and world politics (4.0)

The course is devoted to the study of the evolution of world politics and international relations in the period from 1945 to 1979, the end of XX - beginning of XXI century. It is also devoted to the study of the basic theories, doctrines and concepts of world politics, the general international issues, regional specificity, the provisions of international instruments, fundamental political and international legal research on global politics and international relations.

7. Ukrainian and foreign culture (3.0)

The course examines the attractions of spiritual and material culture, created and recorded for centuries in various forms. They are considered in historical vertical as the whole phenomenon, as well as on a regional basis, accounting relationships with the cultural achievements of other nations, because any ethnic group, a people, a nation cannot develop in isolation, outside the general historical process.

8. Regional Geography (4.0)

This course examines the geographical location, climatic conditions, mineral resources, ethnic and confessional composition of the population, features of the cultural and historical development, political and legal systems, governments, economic systems, foreign policy of countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America, CIS, Europe and Northern America, as well as Ukraine's relations with them.

9. Introduction to university studies (2.0)

Academic discipline involves the following tasks: on the basis of modern theoretical and methodological approaches students must reveal the nature and essence of modern international business as a phenomenon of social life and a field of economic activity, as an economic category and an independent science, show the stages of its historical development, the environment, types and forms, analyze functional and institutional structure of international business, laws, tendencies and problems of development in conditions of  globalization processes. Herewith, the strategic objective is to develop a clear, coherent and structured system of knowledge and ideas about student’s future training.

10. Philosophy (4.0)

Academic discipline aims to provide knowledge of philosophy as an ideology of man, or a set of world views in general and man's relationship to the world, in the sense of ontological, epistemological, axiological and social problems of life.

11. International information (4.0)

The course "International information" includes knowledge about the system of international relations in a globalized communication, specifics, trends and prospects of international information policy, analysis of impact of ICT on international systems and global development, research and forecasting of problems of the international community in the field of information and communication, clarification of the impact of information development of Ukraine on political and economic aspects of the country's integration into the world information space.

12. Global environmental problems in international business (2.0)

Under the influence of modern globalization, technological progress human impact on the environment is increasing, that leads to global environmental problems. This course involves the study of basic features, principles, methods, tools and approaches to planning and organizing of eco-oriented management of the enterprise.

13. International Management (8.0)

The course includes basic theoretical knowledge about the formation and interaction of organizations in cross-border activity. It involves the study of forms and types of entrepreneurial activity complicated by a foreign element, and it also reflects the objective processes of conducting business on the level of optimizing the use of resources.

14. International Marketing (8.0)

The course provides acquiring of theoretical and practical knowledge on the basics of international marketing. Students will be introduced to marketing tools used in solving marketing problems in the process of international activities, and to the basics of market research with the use of marketing communications at the national and international markets.

15. Political Development and Political Systems (2.0)

This course examines the political and legal systems of Asian countries and clarifies the peculiarities of their evolution, considers the characteristics and trends of modern political processes, specificity of social and political movements in Latin America, and the development of political and legal systems in Europe and other regions.

16. Comparative social and labor law of European countries (3.0)

Discipline involves the examination and consideration of such important aspects of the company’s activity as the development of strategic directions of foreign policy and the conduct of the company in foreign markets, drawing up plans for foreign trade and forming the optimal structure of management of foreign economic activity, its coordination with other types of work at the company, accounting and control of the efficiency of operations in foreign markets.

19. Diplomatic History of Ukraine (3.0)

Science course adapted to the training program of professionals with a focus on the diplomatic aspect of the history of Ukraine. The object of the proposed discipline is reproduction and evaluation of efforts of the national diplomacy to ensure favorable conditions for the full development of the nation state and analysis of the diplomatic service institute in different situations and at different times.

21. Mathematics in the economy (4.0)

The course includes basic methods and models of linear and vector algebra, analytic geometry, mathematical analysis, differential calculus of functions of one and several variables, integral calculus, differential equations and their practical application in international economics, finance, management, and business.

22. Modern information systems and technology (3.0)

The course involves the study of modern information systems and technologies that future experts can use in the field of international relations. The course outlines the conceptual, informational, hardware and software foundations of work on modern personal computers with the use of the necessary means of submission, processing and searching of data used in the training of specialists in the field of modern international relations.

23. The economy of the company (2.0)

The main objectives of the course are the study of modern human resources policy, reproduction and use of fixed assets, formation and determination of  the effectiveness of the financial and industrial investments, features of  the development of enterprise on the basis of scientific, technological and organizational progress, determination of  motivation, quality and competitiveness of products, directions  of  effective work in conditions of market economy; development  of creative approach to making management decisions, to characteristics of the structure and activities of the company, the development and implementation of its development plan, analyzing and summarizing the results of production, economic, commercial and financial activities, elaboration of proposals for improving the efficiency of management measures and monitoring their exercise by changing the situation in the market environment.

24. History of Economic Thought and Economic Development (5.0)

Knowledge and understanding of content and patterns of evolution of the world economic thought promotes a deeper understanding of economic issues of the past and the present. This course raises the theoretical level and broadens the outlook of students, helps them to get the technique of culture and economic thinking, teaches creative thinking skills about complex socio-economic problems.

25. Micro- and macro-economic fundamentals of international business (4.0)

The course involves studying the principles of behavior of economic agents - households and companies - in different market conditions, the study of basic macroeconomic models, basic modern macroeconomic approaches to the analysis of the economy, macroeconomic policy (fiscal, monetary) analysis tools of micro- and macroeconomic relationships.

26. Theory of Statistics (4.0)

Discipline involves the systematic study of statistical study methods of patterns of socio-economic phenomena and formation processes of theoretical and methodological foundations of statistical management and development management decisions based on the results of the statistical analysis.

27. Pricing on world commodity markets (3.0)

This discipline examines the current theory and practice of pricing, analysis of formation patterns of domestic and foreign trade prices structures in the world trade. Attention focused on the study of patterns and methods of pricing in the micro and macro levels, features of major economic indexes mainly used in the modern world.

28. Fundamentals of diplomacy and diplomatic work (3.0)

Educational discipline involves the study of the legal framework of international and national diplomacy principles and diplomatic work, the characteristics of the diplomatic activities protocol and foreign activities of the state.

29. Private International Law (3.0)

This discipline opens the concept of private international law, its functions, principles, features, characteristics, challenges and current issues of international private law, which have features which are common for all institutions of modern international private law.

30. Language at the specialty (10.0)

The course involves the formation of students' language competence according to their profession, aimed at preparing students considering their communication needs for future careers.

1.1. Competition in international business (3.0)

This course involves the study of concepts and terminology that describes the product competitiveness, companies and the national economy in foreign markets.

1.2. Management of international companies (3.0)

The course includes theoretical knowledge about economic forms, kinds and types, organization and management of international commercial transactions and companies. The course reflects an objective, specific economic activities and a set of relations between economic entities on some form of implementation of international business activity.

1.3. Cross-cultural management (5.0)

The course involves expanding professional horizons of thinking and improving specialist’ professional culture; the usage of cross-cultural communication features in professional work; study the problems of international dialogue in the context of professional culture; analysis of the specific national business culture, and its relationship with organizational culture; formation of evaluation criteria and ways to achieve success in the business and study of the main features of cross-cultural interaction technology; the formation of practical skills in business cultures and business communication with national traditions and mentality.

Structure of the course the features of a commercial bank as a financial institution and the main types of banking operations are considered. An important issue devoted to international practice in banking regulation and providing of the banking system reliability.

1.6. International Business Logistics (3.0)

The course covers the main logistics directions in market conditions in the subject to information material management, labor and cash flows. The main goal of this course is to teach students about the methods and techniques of modern international business logistics. The methodological basis of the course is the modern concept of logistics activities in the performance of business operations.

1.7. Diplomatic providing of the international business (3.0)

The course involves learning the basics of diplomatic providing in the international business in the context of state foreign policy realization; systems diplomatic influence to international business in the information-analytical work, financial, credit and investment fields; providing of national economic security using the methods of diplomatic support in international business.

Block 2.  «International Marketing»

2.1. Brand Management in International Business (3.0)

The main purpose of the discipline is to study the instruments and mechanisms of development and brand management in modern conditions of international business, to build knowledge about the development processes and brands positioning, the study the modern trends in international brands and Ukrainian markets, to form a knowledge of the principles, technologies and tools of brand communications. The main objectives of the discipline is to study the economic nature and role of the brand in international business; study methods for assessing brand value by analyzing the elements of its capital; different development approaches, brand positioning; study basic approaches to brand management; review features of brand management in various fields of economic actors activity; isolating the patterns and trends of internal, national and international brands.

2.2. Information and telecommunication technologies in marketing (3.0)

This discipline involves the study of characteristics and principles of effective marketing systems with the use of modern information and communication technologies to address the urgent problems of different types of marketing.

2.3. Marketing research and information analysis (3.0)

The course is devoted to theoretical and methodological, technical, technological and substantive aspects of planning, organizing and conducting marketing researches, qualitative analysis and forecasting company’s market situation or organization and subsequent use of research results in the marketing.

2.4. Marketing Management (5.0)

The course provides students acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge on the basics of marketing-management that are necessary to solve major problems arising in the process of international activities.

2.5. Marketing of services in international markets (3.0)

The course explores current trends, tools and mechanisms for the implementation of marketing in international markets in terms of the internationalization of economic relations and formation services market as the leader in world trade. Services market is, in common, the locomotive of world production, science and technology and the entire system of international economic relations, which are influenced by modern information technologies and globalization trends. As a result, marketing of services in the world trade is growing faster than external trade in general, under the influence of computerization, information technology, market liberalization, financial and insurance services, etc., which requires constant monitoring of the global services market.

2.7. International marketing logistics (3.0)

The course covers analysis of demand and forecasting of sales; production planning based on market information; orders processing; warehousing and storage of finished products; transportation of finished products. The main areas of business management in the context of marketing logistics is the transition from hierarchical functional structure of management structure to control of the process on cross-functional basis; use approaches in management, oriented on market and customer, not on the product; use processes efficiency, but not profit, as the main indicator on the international companies activities, including the assessment and management of supply chain.

Block 3.  "Finance of International Business"

3.1. Advertising and GR-management in international business (3.0)

In the academic discipline the theory of advertising and GR-management is studied and disclosed. Students will analyze the construction of advertising companies; define their active and passive components, methods of production adaptation to consumer demand and complex organization of the market for goods or services; analyze the short and long-term company strategy in advertising depending on market segmentation and selection of marketing policy.

3.2. Theory and methods of decision-making (3.0)

Academic discipline devoted to the study of methods of analysis of modern international economic relations, it involves studying the rules of applying methodologies, techniques and tools of economic and mathematical modeling in theoretical studies. In the course we aim to provide students with basic information about the current state and the logic of decision theory. The peculiarity of the discipline is a systematic presenting of a variety of mathematical, economic and statistical methods, method of expert evaluation and providing of information on their application in practice management decisions.

3.3. International Corporate Management (5.0)

This discipline involves the study of the management of large business entities functioning in various sectors of the economy internationally.

3.4. International Business Communication (5.0)

The subject of discipline is the relationship between the participants of business communications, and system of factors that affect their performance.

3.5. International stock markets (3.0)

The course involves the study of the main varieties of derivatives (futures, forwards, swaps and option contracts) and the characteristics of their application (risk management, price forecasting, operational advantages, market efficiency and speculation) on international stock markets.

3.6. Business communication in international business (3.0)

Academic discipline devoted to the research of negotiations. Situational techniques are combined with dialog exercises. Practical orientation of the course is based on a combination of theoretical concepts of negotiations with real constructive examples of bilateral, multilateral and international commercial negotiations.

3.7. Accounting and analysis of foreign economic activities (3.0)

The course involves studying the nature of accounting in business; it includes accounting of assets, liabilities, income and expenses; peculiarities of currency accounting, export-import and other foreign operations; methods of analysis of foreign trade.

1.1  Settlements and payments in international business (3.0)

The course is expected to present the theoretical and practical methods of exercising payments and settlements. Particular attention is paid to characterization of payment tools and contract enforcement. Attention is given to the guarantees in international commercial contracts. The course includes overview of the main methods of financing of export-import operations in modern conditions.

1.2. Financial mechanism of international business contracts (3.0)

The course involves the presentation of the theory and practice of international payments, including ways and methods of payment, general requirements for means of payment and their classification.

2.1. International Accounting Standards (4.0)

The program of the course "International Accounting Standards" involves the presentation of the  theoretical basis of accounting in accordance with international standards, the manner of its conduct, its methods, forms and principles; collection and analysis of information about the property of the company, its assets and business processes; acquiring practical skills of preparing financial statements. The course features the application of international financial reporting standards, both in Ukraine and in the world and prospects of their development in the post-soviet countries.

2.2. Accounting of commercial and industrial activities in international companies (4.0)

The course focuses on the presentation of the basic theories of international accounting standards and procedures of submitting financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.

3.1. Foundation of scientific research (3.0)

The purpose and objectives of discipline is to present the  major trends of the global and national  science, mastering theoretical basis for writing term papers, bachelor's and master's works. The students acquire the knowledge of the features of international business as a science, study basic methods of collecting and analyzing economic data, develop conceptual and categorical apparatus, fundamental research skills, learn how to identify, calculate and analyze the main parameters and quantitative and qualitative characteristics of scientific research.

3.2. The methodology of scientific knowledge (3.0)

The purpose of discipline is to provide students with knowledge of the methodology of scientific research developed within the philosophy of science as an independent science area.

4.1. Risk management in international business (3.0)

The course involves the study of conceptual and methodological principles of risk management in international business. It encompasses the nature and classification of economic risks in general and risks of international business, analyzing in particular the characteristics of risk environment of international business, and involves the study of applied quantitative and qualitative methods to identify and assess the risks of international business, specific methods and mechanisms for risk management in international business, different practices of protection against various types of risks in this area.

4.2. Risk science in international business (3.0)

Adapting the international experience of risk management in Ukraine is a prerequisite for Ukraine’s involvement into the international practice of civilized protection against economic risks in international business. That is why it is relevant to study the most appropriate implementation experience of foreign countries at different stages of development of the risk management market taking into account the national specific of Ukrainian economy.

5.1. Global commodities market conditions (3.0)

The purpose of discipline is to get acquainted with the methods of analysis and forecasting of international commodity markets; mechanisms and factors of the conditions of international commodity markets; institutions and instruments for regulating conditions of international commodity markets; principles of building predictive models of international commodity market conditions; as well as with the methods and forms of presentation of global market conditions analysis and information. As a result, the student should be able to use basic methods of researching the  economic conditions of international commodity markets; analyze and underline the most important factors affecting the macroeconomic situation and identify their relationship with the state of affairs on individual commodity markets; form a system of short-term indicators to assess the dynamics of industry segments of the world markets; build trends, understand stock charts and quotes; make predictions using technical analysis methods; develop scientific and reasonable strategy and tactics on a specific product market.

5.2. Condition analysis of International Business (3.0)

The academic discipline provides the study of modern methods operational research of commodity, stock and currency markets; of making algorithms and short-term applied research.

6.1. Econometrics (3.0)

Discipline develops a professional economist thinking and expertise to analyze economic systems that operate in the real world. Introduces students to econometrics and gives them the ability and skills to use modern methods of econometric analysis, independently analyze and forecast economic reality at the level of the economy as a whole and at the level of individual regions, industries and enterprises. Econometric models and methods are widely used in management, marketing, finance etc.

6.2. The economic dimensions of international business (3.0)

Discipline creates a professional economist thinking and expertise to analyze economic systems that operate in the real world.

7.1. Insurance in international business (4.0)

The aim of the course "Insurance in International Business" is the students mastering the fundamentals of the economy of insurance, methods of regulation of insurance relations in Ukraine and in foreign countries, the techniques of insurance when conducting foreign trade contracts, the regulatory framework, prospects for the development and internationalization of the Ukrainian insurance market

7.2. Securing in international business (4.0)

The integration of Ukraine into the world economic system requires business entities engaged in export-import operations, preparing loan or investment agreements, to apply internationally recognized tools of insurance protection against the risks that exist in the sphere of international business.

Courses include the study of the history of the world economic system, economic development in the global context, market fundamentals, industry structure, major actors, global problems of the world economy and economic policy.

9.1. Financial management in international companies (3.0)

Academic discipline involves accomplishment the  following tasks: disclosure of the nature and scope of generally accepted approaches to tasks performed by the financial manager in global business; provision of students with global trends of the entry of  international companies to stock markets;  determination of quantities  of the effectiveness of financial management in the international financial markets for a range of investors and auditors; apprehension of the place and the role of financial manager in terms of his functional performance of duties through  strengthening the position of the company in the global competitive environment.

9.2. International Financial Management (3.0)

Academic discipline involves the accomplishment of following tasks: forming logical structure of knowledge that form a scientific discipline; understanding the scale of the potential consequences of decisions that fall within the competence of the financial manager; developing  ability to independently analyze all types of financial reporting combined results in order to improve the welfare of shareholders; studying of the  generally accepted quantitative and qualitative assessments of financial results; learning  international accounting standards and trends highlighting the results of economic activity. The main purpose is to distinguish the practical aspect of this area of ​​knowledge for future professional use.

Courses include the overview of major theoretical approaches to the study of international conflicts, methodology of researching conflicts, problems of conflict management and negotiations theory. The course deals with the problems of the current conflict situation in the world, typology of modern conflicts and means of their prevention.

Courses dedicated to familiarizing students with the main stages of Ukrainian statehood and foreign policy related to them. The course deals with the latest developments of Ukrainian foreign policy, assesses the latest trends of its formation and development, discloses the contents of its regional and substantive areas, and attempts to predict the role and place of Ukraine in the world in the twentieth century

1. Business philosophy (4.0)

Academic discipline involves studying the realities of doing business in Ukraine, realization of entrepreneur’s place and his role in state development.

2. Controlling in international business (4.0)

The course includes basic principles of internal audit in enterprises, theoretical substantiation methodology for audits, experience of regulatory and market regulators usage in auditing. All statements in audit that are studied illustrated by practical implementation with specific examples of individual companies.

3. The theory of sustainable development and social aspects of international business (4.0)

The course involves the study and consideration of the theory of sustainable development, social, legal, political, economic, ethical and environmental issues that business faces today.

4. Macroeconomic policy and modeling in international business (4.0)

The course is focused on the study of state regulation of the modern macroeconomic models practical application that are relevant for the international business development.

5. Methodology and organization of scientific research with the basics of intellectual property (3.0)

The course provides deep comprehensive study and research of the most actual problems of modern international business as the field of economic activity and a separate branch of scientific knowledge, student’s skills development for independent scientific research, collection, and materials systematization for writing a master's thesis. Objectives – gaining research skills, realizing purposes of scientific research, the skills formation about the correct performance of qualification and scientific works (master's thesis, papers, theses).

6. Diplomatic protocol and business etiquette (3.0)

Scientific discipline involves the study of the legal framework of international and national principles of diplomatic protocol and ceremonial; features of diplomatic activities protocol and foreign activities of the state, the basic rules and norms of etiquette as composite image of the modern diplomat, politician, businessman.

7. Practice of Translation (14.0)

The course provides an achievement of future specialists such a level of translation competence, which will provide them the opportunity to do professional translation work in different kinds of translation in oral and written forms.

8. Innovation and investment management in international business (4.0)

Within the frames of this discipline it is considered the essence of innovation and international investment management, areas and directions of corporation’s activity in the market of intellectual products, opened the peculiarities of corporate strategy, management and marketing company’s activities in the market of intellectual products. Particular attention is paid to the problems of investment funds commercial operations in the investment markets and intellectual products, regulation of corporation’s activities, opportunities of the international experience usage for the Ukrainian enterprises.

9. Management of international projects (3.0)

The course introduces students with the essence and tools of project management on international level, which allows making qualified decisions regarding the coordination of people, equipment, materials, funding and schedules for a particular project at a given time, within budget and to the customer (consumer) satisfaction.

Educational discipline involves learning the fundamentals of economic diplomacy in the context of realizing the foreign policy; the influence of diplomatic providing in international business in the information-analytical work, financial, credit and investment spheres; providing national economic security using methods of diplomatic support in international business.

12. Intellectual property in international business (3.0)

The main goals and objectives of the course is to deepen knowledge in the modern understanding of the classical theory of intellectual property, study foreign experience in classifying forms of intellectual property, determination of tools to provide the protection of intellectual property in international business, the use of international agreements and conventions in the field of intellectual property in the context of risk management; the usage of features and management practices of intellectual property. The main objects of studying this discipline are the main approaches and methods to protect intellectual property, and economic and legal framework in defense system of intellectual property. The subject of study is the forms and methods of analysis about the practice of intellectual property in today's global system of innovations.

13. System management techniques in international business (3.0)

System management techniques are an organization of managing business entities on the basis of systemic methods and systems management. The purpose of the discipline is to acquire students’ knowledge and skills in use system management organizations in various fields, particularly in the creation on this basis corporate management systems, which combine all elements of management, namely administration, finance, production, quality management, safety labor, information security, personnel management, marketing, etc. and ensure their effective functioning.

The purpose of the discipline is to learn the necessary definitions, theories and taxation practice, organization and method of paying taxes and tax payments in the context of normative and legislative acts that regulate this process; studying international experience of tax systems as the most important levers of state regulation of the economy. The student should know the features of the tax system as a science, conceptual and categorical apparatus and basis of taxation, fiscal instruments regulating tax management. Students should be able to work with scientific literature by themselves, writing analytical works for the course, prepare and present presentations, to debate.

16. Knowledge management in international companies (3.0)

Educational discipline is a part of the management personnel discipline and reveals both traditional and innovative methods in international company’s systems of training. Academic discipline involves studying the theoretical and conceptual bases of export of capital in the form of foreign direct investment, and micro- and macroeconomic aspects of the modern multinational corporations. The above study promotes: theoretical principles of functioning and development patterns of the establishment of multinational companies; the main provisions of the modern multinational corporation’ internal environment; the major driving forces and motives of cross-border mergers and acquisitions; strategies of multinational firms; features of multinationals organizational and management structure and global models of business management; features of the TNCs financial system; issues about TNCs relationship that are a receiving one; a wide range of aspects about the TNCs regulation.

1.2. Financial mathematics in international business (3.0)

The purpose of discipline is to get acquainted with the peculiarities of application of the financial mathematics basic fundamentals in the practice of international business, including simple and compound interest, methods of calculation, the economic essence of transactions and increasing the discount cash flow valuation technique and methods of investment projects evaluation; debt repayment practice and Lombard lending, features of accrual and consumer credit redemption (return), foreign exchange and positive interest arbitrage; operations open positions revaluation, foreign exchange transactions and capital markets (financial futures, options and option awards calculation, etc.), methods of risk diversification in foreign trade.

1.3. Creative management in international business (3.0)

Academic discipline focuses on theoretical and practical aspects about the formation technology of system-creative thinking including collective decision-making in international business.

1.4. Crisis management in international business (3.0)

The course involves the study of the major characteristics and socio-economic measures in enterprise managing in the specific business environment. Attention is paid to the conceptual provisions of crisis deployment mechanism on the enterprises level, considered typology of the crisis deployment phases, opened the basic factors of the crisis and the threat of bankruptcy.

This discipline focuses on the study of new forms of international business, deepens the knowledge of modern problems in the world economy, the characteristics of transnationalization in international economic relations and their regulation mechanisms at national, regional and global levels.

The objective of the course is to develop a marketing management system that meets the specifics of the field and the stage of becoming a company that introduces an innovation; identify existing and potential customers queries, search capabilities of creating a value for the consumer, taking into account the life cycle of technology and the core competency of the company; market segmentation, selection of target segments and clear positioning of innovative products and services; development and study of strategic and tactical marketing plans that ensure the development and promotion of innovation; pricing policy for high-tech markets; choice of channels of innovative products and services and working methods in the respective channels; creating a balanced communication strategy aimed at winning target markets; planning, organization, motivation and control of marketing activities in the companies of high-tech sectors.

2.2. Business communications and public relations in international business (3.0)

The task of the discipline are to show that the communicative competence is an essential component of the effectiveness of management strategies; to reveal the relationship between effective business communication and observance of ethical standards; to show that taking into account of psychological and sociocultural specific of interlocutors is a prerequisite of the effective business communication; to analyze verbal and non-verbal means of business communication; to research a conversation’s specific as an individual form of business communication and form of collective discussion of business issues; to determine the specific of business etiquette; to formulate the understanding of character and the necessity of public relations, processes occurring in the communication space and organization – as a part of the space; to learn the ways of projecting and determination of the PR-activity’s effectiveness.

2.3. Commercial Logistics in international business (3.0)

The purpose and task of the discipline is about the researching of commercial logistics, defining its importance in the system of current economic knowledge and the system of professional business activities. The course examines main stages of development, concepts kinds and types of logistics; problems of building logistics systems of merchandise and setting up the efficiency of logistics system.

2.4. Corporate management in international corporations (3.0).

The purpose of the discipline is for students to acquire knowledge and skills in various areas of the corporation’s activity, particularly in coordinating the efforts of various entities in merging of shareholders’ financial resources for capital formation, to solve production problems of management, execution of current tasks of corporate structures’ activity and ensuring their effective functioning taking into account the specifics of activities of international companies. Due to the determined purpose, the course’s objective is to give knowledge in the sphere of multi-leveled multi-streaming systems of management, forming complicated organizations, such as corporation, subject to the specific of Ukrainian legislation and foreign corporate experience.

The subject of discipline includes theoretical knowledge about the real economic processes, structure and organization of financial markets, the basis functioning of financial institutions. It shows a part of objective specific economic activity and sum of relationships between subjects about one or another form of the activity’s realization in the sphere of management of personal finances. Students must use in their future activity rational technology, heuristical and quantitative study tools of foundation and decision-making in the management of personal finances, the methodology of building up their own financial plan, provide for permanent control of expenditures and income in the complicated and dynamic environment of market environment.

3.2. Strategic management of international competitiveness (3.0)

The academic discipline provides studying of theoretical foundations of strategic management to their global extent, determining of international approaches’ general nature, types of development strategies of business of international corporations, functional strategies and the process of development and implementation of strategies of global level. Researches the problem of Implementation of strategic management means to the realization practice of international competitiveness of firms, industries or countries, increasing its competitive advantages under current conditions of globalization’s waves expansion to all countries of the world.

3.3. Finances of international corporations (3.0)

Academic discipline involves learning the basic conceptual principles of the organization of international corporation’s finances, means of attracting and redistribution of financial resources in transnational corporations, theoretical and practical aspects of the capital structure of transnational corporations, main areas of optimizing the cost of funding, methods of analysis of financial accounting of multinational corporations. The strategic objective is to acquire students the necessary technical and methodological knowledge of the basic principles and specifics of financial organization of international corporations, basic aspects of formulation of the capital’s structure of transnational corporations and practical skills of implementing existing in the world methods of corporate financial accounting, current and strategic international corporative financial planning, methods of optimization of financing TNC value, key forms of a company’s financial accounting and principles of its building up on the basis of international standards, means of redistribution of financial resources within TNC and the specific of its implementation by different countries in the modern world.

The course covers human resources management at the enterprise level, in particular the processes of reselection, selection, recruitment, professional orientation, industrial and non-industrial adaptation, evaluation, compensation, employee turnover and resolving labor disputes; Also the activity of International Labor Organization and other specialized international institutions in the field of human resources management in international business are researched; world experience of human resource management, taking into account cross-cultural features, etc.

The purpose and objectives of discipline "Personnel management in international companies" - to provide students with knowledge of the theory of management personnel within the national economic policy and economic activity of business entities different forms of ownership and form practical skills of personnel management to ensure effective organization.

The purpose of discipline is studying the fundamentals of the economy of financial instruments, hedging techniques of international contracts. The course provides knowledge of financial terminology system engineering and economic nature of the financial instruments, knowledge of the design of financial instruments, knowledge of the use of structured finance instruments.

2.2. Derivatives of financial instruments in international business (4.0)

Courses include study of the main types of derivatives of financial instruments (futures, forwards, swaps and option contracts) and the specific of their application (risk management, price forecasting, operational advantages, market efficiency and speculation) in international business.

Discipline Program includes a detailed analysis of the major institutional and legal forms of international business organization and their evolution, the study of modern organizational forms of international banking, insurance and financial activities. Attention is given to research institutional framework to ensure the international competitiveness of businesses in the context of globalization, the role of the tax institution in the international business is researched; the institutional environment offshore areas are analyzed, special attention is paid to the insurance institute in the financial markets and the institutional structure of the international banking business, including institutions offshore banking and to the specific Islamic banking institutions. Public corporations as a special institution in the regulation of international business are analyzed separately.

3.2. Institutional regulation of international business (3.0)

Academic discipline provides for performing tasks such as improving knowledge on types and instruments of international regulation of international business, expansion of the ideas about the modern system of regulation of international business; disclosure of the functions and features of the key institutions regulating international business global and regional levels, analysis of the place and the role of international organizations in the regulation of international business, study differences in the nature of regulation of international business in most developing countries compared with the countries - members of the OECD.

The course aims to help students and graduates to learn to practice an effective methodic of job-seeking and real employment to the desirable working place  in the sphere of international business, to prepare them psychologically to communicate with the representatives of international companies, organizations and employment agencies. The objectives of the discipline is learning by students methods of collection, processing and analysis of information as to the job search, formulating their ability to overcome loses at this stage, the ability to use a common, proven by the time methods of job-seeking and specific situations, arising during the interview with employers and under the conditions of competition, and also during their probationary period for a particular job.
