Dmytro P. Rasshyvalov

Position: Head of the Chair
Field of research: risk management, insurance and reinsurance in international business.
Graduated from the Faculty of International Relations and International Law of Kyiv University in 1981, post-graduate course of the Department of International Economic Relations of the Faculty - in 1984. Employment at the University of Kyiv: 1985-1991 - assistant to the Department of International Economic Relations, since 1991 - assistant, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations and Marketing of the Faculty of International Relations and International Law (now the Department of International Business of IMI). In 1990-91 he was deputy dean of this faculty. From September 1, 2015, Acting Head of the Department.
I have been trained in insurance and reinsurance at UK insurance brokerage companies ST Bowring (Marsh & McLennan) and Wilson Limed. Combines teaching, research and practical activities in the international insurance market - cooperates with Ukrainian and foreign insurance companies. As part of the international team of experts, he participated in the development of the insurance and international reinsurance project under the EBRD's management of the "Shelter Object Shelter" Plan (Shelter Implantation Plan). Author of over 50 scientific works.

 

Voldymyr A. Vergun

Field of research: history of Economic Thoughts, International Business (Entry into Specialty), Modern Economic Systems, Fundamentals of Scientific Research, Actual Problems of Scientific Research in International Business, Economic Diplomacy.
Sphere of scientific interests: theoretical and methodological principles of the study of international business as an institutional and functional system, the development of theories of international business within the framework of economic nobelleology, the integration of Ukrainian companies into the modern system of international business.

Graduated from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Faculty of Economics in 1972 and post-graduate course at the Department of Political Economy of the Faculty of Economics (1975). In 1976 he defended his PhD thesis "Criticism of futuristic bourgeois theories"; in 1992 he defended his doctoral dissertation "Environmental Problems in the Modern Economic Thought of the West (Analysis of World Economic Aspects)". Labor at the University of Kyiv at the Faculty - Institute of International Relations: from 1975 to 1996, assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor of the Department of International Economic Relations and the Department of International Business. In 1994-1996 - Deputy Director of the Institute for International Relations in Scientific Work. In 1996-2000 he was an advisor and in 2001-2003 he was an advisor to the Embassy of Ukraine in the Federal Republic of Germany. From 2003 to September 1, 2015 - Head of the Department of International Business. Author of more than 100 scientific works. He was trained twice at the Institute of World Economy in Kiel (Germany). DAAD Scholarship. In 2004, he trained in Canada, the University of Toronto.
