Olexandr I. Shnyrkov

In 1973 joined the Faculty of International Relations and International Law of the Kyiv State Taras Shevchenko University. In 1981 defended his Ph.D. thesis "Interstate Industrial Cooperation in the Engineering of Socialist Countries". Since 1981 - Assistant, 1986 - Associate Professor, 1997 - Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations, 1996 - 2012 Deputy Director of the Institute of International Relations, 1998 - Head of the International Economic Relations Department. In 1996 defended his doctoral dissertation "Competition in Economic Relations of European Countries with Economies in Transition". Teaches courses in international economic relations, economies of European countries, competition in international business, the EU competition policy. He lectured at the universities of Paderborn, Berlin, Hull (UK), Brussels (Belgium).

Participated in more than 20 international scientific and educational projects under the TEMPUS, TACIS, INTAS, NATO, UNESCO, ERASMUS, Jean Monnet and other programs. Member of the Central and Eastern European Association for International Studies (Prague, 2000) and Presidential Council of the Association of Universities and Research Centers of Central and Eastern Europe (Udine, 2006). Deputy Editor-in-Chief of International Relations Magazines (1996), Actual Problems of International Relations (1996), Member of Editorial Board, Journal of European Economics (2001), Transitional Studies Review (Munich, 2005), Journal of Global Economy Review (2014), Economic Annals-XXI (2016). He has prepared 23 candidates of sciences and 3 doctor of sciences.

Awards: Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Excellence in Education of Ukraine, Philip Morris Award for Scientific Work, Honorary Diploma and Gratitude of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and the Gratitude of the Kyiv Mayor, Honorary Diploma of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine,. Honorary Diploma of Scientific Council of KNU.

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Kyiv State University. T.G. Shevchenko (1972).
In 1976 he defended his Ph.D. thesis "Development of reproductive relations between member-states of the Council of Economic Mutual Assistance at the present stage", in 1987 - a doctoral dissertation "Problems of formation of economic interrelations of the international socialist economic complex".

In Kiev University: since 1975 - assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of the department of international economic relations of the faculty of international relations and international law, 1988-1990 - dean of faculty, 1989-2008 - head of the department of world economy and international economic relations of the Institute International relations.

Head of the Specialized Academic Council on the specialty 08.00.02 - World Economy and International Economic Relations. President of the "Ukrainian Association of Economists-Internationalists". Scientific supervisor of more than 10 doctoral and 25 candidate's theses.

Awards: He was awarded the distinction of Volodymyr of the Great Academy of Sciences and the Diploma of the Academic Council of the University. Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine. Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine.

Field of research: development of the world economy, world finances, economic security, accounting of foreign economic activity.

Graduated from the Department of International Relations and International Law of Kyiv State University in 1985 with honors. T.G. Shevchenko; 1989 Postgraduate study of ISEPZK (today ISEMV Academy of Sciences of Ukraine).
Since 1988 he has been working as an assistant and then an assistant professor of the Department of International Economic Relations. In 1990 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic "Problems of forming the system of international economic security". In 1999 he received a degree in associate professorship.
In 2010 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "System determinants of world financial crises".

He is the author of over 70 scientific and methodological works. Among them: "Accounting for foreign economic activity of enterprises." Field of research: international labour migration, regional migration policy, EU common commercial policy.

In 2007 she graduated with honours from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, specialty - economist-internationalist. Since 2007 he has been working at the Research Department of the Institute of International Relations, since 2008 as an Assistant, since 2013 - Associate Professor of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations. In 2010 he defended his Ph.D. thesis “Impact of labour emigration on macroeconomic development of Ukraine”. In 2018 defended his  doctor of science thesis “Transformation of the regional policy of labour migration regulation under the emerging global labour market”. Within the framework of the preparation of the dissertation, he published a research monograph “Regional Regulation of International Labour Migration” (2017).

Author of over 100 research works.

1999 graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. Studied in Germany (2001) and the Czech Republic (2002). In 2003 he defended his dissertation on "Foreign Capital in the Privatization of Strategic Enterprises of Ukraine" on the degree of a candidate of economic sciences. In 2001, began teaching at the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations of the IMU of the Taras Shevchenko National University. Since 2006 - Associate Professor of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations of the IMU of the Taras Shevchenko National University. He is the author of lectures on disciplines "Fundamentals of Forecasting of World Markets" (2007), "World Economy" (2010), "International Economic Relations" (2010), "Investigation of the Situation of World Commodity Markets" (2010), textbook "Fundamentals of Forecasting" World markets »(2013).

Graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University in 2011. Since 2011 he has been a candidate for a degree in economics from the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations. In May 2014, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on "Determinants of the Resilience and Adaptability of the UK Financial System in the Context of Global Structural Transformations". Author of more than 30 scientific works.

 

Lyudmyla O. Shvorak

 

Scientific degree: Ph.D. (Economics)
Position: Assistant
Field of research: European economic integration, investment activity in world markets, competition in international markets, modeling of world economic processes.

In 2011 she graduated with honors from the Department of International Economic Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. In 2012, with honors, she graduated from the Second Higher Education Department at the Institute of International Relations of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University and received a complete higher education in the specialty "International Law".

Since November 2011 she has been studying at postgraduate study at the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations. In 2014 she defended a thesis for a Candidate of Economic Sciences degree in the subject "Influence of customs unions on structural changes in the economies of the participating countries".

From 2014 she works as an assistant at the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations of the Institute of International Relations.
