"Code of the Nation 18"

October 4 - December 12, 2018

Yu. Nagulko

October 4 at 19:00 the Institute of International Relations (IIR Open Space) hosted the exhibition of Yuri Nagulko "Code of the Nation 18".
The result of the hard work of Yuri Nagulko is a series of exhibitions at home - the Kiev Museum of Russian Art, the Museum of Book Printing in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the exhibition halls of Sophia of Kiev, the National Museum of T.G. Shevchenko Gallery and Pecherska Museum, Museum-Exhibition Center "Museum of the History of the Kyiv City".
He stands out sharply among the well-known contemporary Ukrainian artists with his categorical rejection of an obscene, heartless, brutal in painting. He is a vivid personality who approves the spiritual tradition. His work is perceived as a phenomenon. "He stands alone" - someone says, "This new trend in contemporary art" - others say. Success, including the collectors, gives him the opportunity to continue the exhibition activities abroad, and his paintings to replenish the collections of such iconic museums as the National Museum of Art. A. Sheptytsky (Lviv) and the Ukrainian Museum in New York.

"Synthesis of thoughts"

May 17 - June 4, 2018

А. Kopchak

From the first exhibitions, Andriy Kopchak captivated the spectator with his special peculiar philosophical line in the fine arts. His generation - the generation of millennials, is first of all - a combination of an incoherent one. And Andriy magically combines traditional art with his inherent abstraction/

His works are impossible to forget: bright in painting and monumental in graphics, people are half-mysterious creatures, often interlacing or crawling, melting in space, playing on the thin edge between formalism and realistic quest-creating a compositional line.

"Face About"

March 19 - April 10, 2018

V. Koshlyak, A. Baranovsky

Vitaliy Koshlyak is a talent of courageous childhood. He is one of not showy, non-murmuring carers of the new renaissance, the one whose unpredictability, whether on the canvas or in everyday life, shines with the matured kindness, child's open-heartedness, and the integrity of the human-artist, which is fascinating not with the courageous desire to catch fancy and find favour in the eyes of a viewer, but a high, as he is, profound renunciation, silently suffered desire to refine, straighten up the petitioned, sung and then confused country.

Andriy Baranovsky is a modern master of colors. The artist's imagination is based on colours on the canvas, which are combined into a single whole with alive, elegant spots, with an amazingly precise bond. Everything that fills his picture, every detail, is perceived together as an unison of the orchestra. Each color is the one mechanism, an immutable order, to which anything can be neither added nor brought.
