Short-term mobility

Short-term exchange programs offer mutual visits and exchange between students from partner universities, within the framework of signed agreements. Following the links, you may find a complete list of partners of the National University of Kyiv and the Institute of International Relations.

To participate in the exchange program, you need to send the following documents to the address or
  •   nomination letter from partner university;
  • scanned copy of the passport;
  • consent to the processing of personal data (Annex 1, Annex 2).

If you are interested in a particular program or offer that are available, please request the assistance from IIR International Relations Office.


Joint Degree programs

Joint Degree programs began to develop rapidly in the Institute in 2012. Typically, they involve students studying several terms at the IIR and at a partner university respectively, under the synchronized curriculum that allows to obtain  two master's degrees – in each university.

Currently, the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University has 5 current agreements on double diploma programs, in particular with the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (Lublin, Poland), Warsaw University (Warsaw, Poland), the University of Nicosia (Nicosia, Cyprus), the University of Mykolas Romeris (Vilnius, Lithuania) and the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poznan, Poland).

Cooperation in the field of Higher Education Programs ERASMUS + (2014-2022) and ERASMUS MUNDUS (2009-2013)

Erasmus + is a new EU program for education, training and youth and sport for 2014-2020. Program provides a number of opportunities for students, researchers and teaching staff of higher education institutions worldwide.

The nomination of the exchange participants is carried out by the partner university, which has signed an inter-institutional agreement within the Erasmus + program.


Master’s Programmes in English

In 2012 academic year the Institute launched successful Master’s programmes «East European Studies» (background specialty «International Relations») «International Litigation» (background specialty «International Law») «International Information (Cyber) Law» (background specialty «International Law») «International Trade Regulation» (background specialty «International Law») «International Entrepreneurship» (background specialty «International Economic Relations») «International Management and Marketing» (background specialty «International Business») «International Communication» (background specialty «International Information»), where the courses are provided in English.
