Emergency assistance of the Hebrew University for scientists and students from Ukraine
As a sign of solidarity with the Ukrainian people, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HU) and the Student Union raised the Ukrainian flag on their campus on Mount Scopus.
The University and its students also sent messages of support and encouragement to Ukraine, which is currently experiencing the second week of brutal invasion by the Russian occupiers.
In addition, the HU offers Ukrainian academics and graduate students temporary academic positions and invites professors to continue their research at the Hebrew University for up to 4 months.
Applicants will receive a monthly scholarship of up to $ 2,800, as well as free residency accommodation on campus.
The University also provides an opportunity for all citizens of Ukraine who are currently
earning obtaining a bachelor's degree to attend English language courses free of charge.
This offer includes a scholarship for living.
