For many years, IIR has been attracting students not only from Ukraine, but from all possible parts of the world. Particularly noteworthy is the IIR's Master's program in Energy and Environmental Security, which is unique and only a few higher education institutions have a similar educational program. This year, Tornike Tevdoradze, a Georgian who is currently the Young Ambassador of Georgia in Ukraine as part of an initiative by the Georgian Foreign Ministry, Be the Young Ambassador of Your Country (Georgia), became a student of the IIR. As the "Young Ambassador of Georgia", Tornike actively holds many cultural events in various cities of Ukraine.

On November 13, the Young Ambassador of Georgia to Ukraine Tornike and Ivan arrived in Vinnytsia, where they met local students and the head of the non-governmental youth organization DILI Valeria Gudz, which disseminates environmental values ??and ideas among students. The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the importance of implementing the ideas of sustainable development and popularization of Georgian culture. Mr. Tornike acquainted Ukrainian students with the peculiarities of Georgian customs and traditions.
On November 15-16, Ivan and Tornike visited Lviv, where they met with the Honorary Consul of Georgia in Lviv, Mr. Yaroslav Muzychko. At the initiative of Mr. Yaroslav, the idea of ??creating a youth platform for cooperation between the universities of Lviv, Kyiv, Tbilisi and Chisinau was presented. The Youth Platform should help bring together young professionals to share experiences and work closely together between universities. Also during the visit there was a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, former Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Mr. Markian Malsky. The meeting focused on the importance of youth movements, initiatives and ties between students from different cities of Ukraine. Markiyan Zinovievich expressed readiness to support any positive initiative and made a very interesting gift to the Young Ambassador of Georgia in the form of a modern "Dictionary of Diplomatic Terms". Mr. Markian helped organize a meeting with International Relations students and leaders of the diplomatic youth movement. They discussed the process of European integration, Georgia's pro-Western policy, the problem of the occupied Ukrainian and Georgian territories and international cooperation between Georgia and Ukraine. A meeting was also held in the White Hall of the Lviv City Council, Tornike and Ivan met with the Director of the Lviv Youth Department Oleksandr Nikolak and the President of the Lviv Youth Club Danylo Shevchuk. The parties discussed the future cooperation of youth organizations with the Young Ambassador of Georgia. The meeting laid the foundation for an oral agreement on cooperation and close relations. At the end of the meeting, the young ambassador of Georgia and Ivan were presented with symbolic gifts from Lviv.
At the end of the day, Tornike Tevdoradze and his colleague Ivan Omelchenko were received at the Lviv Regional State Administration, where another meeting took place, with the director of the Department of Youth and Sports Roman Shepelyak. The administration expressed readiness to support interesting youth initiatives. On November 16, the young Georgian ambassador met with the Georgian diaspora. Mr. Tornike believes that the Georgian youth diaspora in Lviv plays an important role and its active work should be welcomed.
