Associate Professor of International Finance Vasyl Namoniuk won the Global Campus Collaborative Virtual Visitorship Grant for virtual mobility from Buffett Institute for Global Affairs
Associate Professor of International Finance Vasyl Namoniuk won the Global Campus Collaborative Virtual Visitorship Grant for virtual mobility from Buffett Institute for Global Affairs, Northwestern University (USA, Chicago), which is among the top 20 universities in the world according to QS World University Rankings.
 
As part of the mobility, Vasyl Namoniuk held a scientific seminar for the Kellogg School of Management, one of the most prestigious business schools in the United States, on June 6. The topic of his speech was Central bank digital currencies: the case of Ukraine.
 
In his presentation, he focused on the current state of implementation of digital currencies of central banks, competitive advantages for the central bank, which will be the first to use full-fledged digital currency, features of introduction and development of e-hryvnia, and modeling potential demand for this type of money in Ukraine.
 
Vasyl Namoniuk has other events ahead, including one-by-one meetings with university professors, who have expressed a desire to discuss the topic of his speech in more detail.
