Joint program presented by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the United States Agency for International Development, and the European Union
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine together with partner countries had the honor to invite Ukrainian students and scientists to take part in the second season of a 5-week series of lectures on specific case studies of the application of competition law in Ukraine, the US and the EU.
The second season of lectures consisted of 5 topics:
1) Unfair competition
2) Economic concentrations
3) Abuse of monopoly (dominant) position
4) Conspiracies at the auction
5) Cartels
Employees of the AMCU, EU competition agencies (Lithuania, Germany, Romania) and the US Federal Trade Commission, who have extensive experience in investigating cases in their jurisdictions, presented current cases in competition law on the above topics, and shared their views on their solutions. .
The last lecture of the course was given by the Chairman of the AC of Ukraine Olga Pishchanska at the ES IIR on December 10, 2021.
