Due to the fruitful cooperation of the IIR with the international educational organization Transnational Education Group a student exchange program with the Wesleyan University, Connecticut, is planned for the next academic year

This is a unique opportunity for our students to take part in a specially designed two-week intensive program by American professors for the Institute of International Relations!

For the invitation of Transnational Education Group Executive Director Alexa Chopivsky the American guests visited Institute in early June - director of the College of environment of Wesleyan University Barry Chernoff and a College professor Katja Kolcio. During the visit the guests had work meetings with the administration of the Institute and professors of international business and international relations and foreign policy departments, as well as a lecture for students read by professor Chernoff.

As a result of meetings a plan for cooperation between the two universities for the next academic year was agreed:
- Student Exchange Program (two-week training of IIR students in the United States - Fall 2016; a two-week training of American students in the IIR - spring 2017)
- A series of online conferences
- Development of the English-language master's program with the Wesleyan University.
The guests were very pleased with the warm welcome and the level of knowledge of our students, they look forward to having a fruitful cooperation!

The Institute is grateful to the partners - Transnational Education Group and personally to Alexa Chopivsky. Our students have already participated in several projects of the organization - educational programs in Washington, DC, a contest for a grant and English language Olympiad. In August TEG holds another interesting program - Kyiv Business & Diplomacy Leadership Academy, students are invited to participate (for more details - or call - 067-549-28-96 ).
