The methodology of teaching disciplines on the theory of communications and communicative technologies

One of the types of tasks that we usually practice at the "Communication Theories" seminars is finding and learning communicative techniques on the examples of the life of well-known politicians. In particular, we recently worked out a book by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair "The Road". We offer to your attention the work of the student in the 1st year of the speciality "International communications" - Myhal Denys.

"Information chaos"

(unofficial translation of some parts of the report of the Council of Europe)

In the fall of 2017, the Council of Europe presented a Report on the state of the European and global information space.

The theme of the EC report was "Information disorder", which reveals the main challenges of modern times, threatening trends and proposes measures to combat disorder in the information space both at the state level and at the level of the capabilities of the average citizen.

As part of the online conference of students of the 2nd year of the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko KNU, majoring in "International Communications" with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe, a summary of the report was prepared in Ukrainian, translated from English. A team of students, consisting of Yelyzaveta Shcherbakova, Anastasia Cherkaska, Yaroslava Vasylenko and Anna Krutova, worked on a brief overview and translation of the report, under the leadership of Serhiy Ivanovich Danylenko, head of the department of international media communications and communication technologies, speciality "International Communications".

We offer you to familiarize yourself with the unofficial translation of individual parts of the report. This article can be useful not only to experts and professionals working in information-related fields but also to any person who seeks not to get caught in information traps and learn to consume information qualitatively and without harmful consequences in the era of "information chaos".
