Scientific-methodical commission

The Scientific and Methodological Commission is a permanent advisory and advisory, the scientific and methodological body of the Institute of International Relations, which determines the main directions of scientific and methodological work on the issues of improving the efficiency and quality of higher education and improving the educational process, taking into account the leading world and national experience. provisions of the Bologna Process and European Higher Education Standards, innovative learning technologies.

In its activities, the Scientific and Methodological Commission is guided by the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”, the decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on education, normative documents and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Charter of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the methodical centre of organization of the educational process of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.



The following scientific tasks are assigned to the Scientific and Methodological Commission:

  1. Identification of the main directions of improvement of the content of higher education, forms, methods and means of education and organization of educational process, taking into account the tendencies of development of the national system of education.
  2. Coordination of the work of the structural units of the Institute involved in the organization of the educational process to ensure the quality of higher education.
  3. Formation of scientifically expert conclusions on the recommendation for the printing of scientific and methodological literature.
  4. Analysis and organization of the systematization of work, training work programs and other educational and methodological and scientific materials that provide the educational process - regarding their compliance with the set standards.
  5. Formation of monitoring of the educational and methodological work of the departments of the Institute.
  6. Consulting work on the introduction of modern information technologies in the educational process.
