Master classes of the MFA of Ukraine in IIR
By the Decree of the President of Ukraine of May 30, 1995 "On the Training of Specialists for Work in the Field of International Relations," the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was designated "the main educational and methodological center for training specialists on the basis of complete secondary education for work in the field of international relations and foreign policy of Ukraine."
Reforming the modern system of higher education in Ukraine requires the greatest possible and effective filling of the educational process with practical knowledge, the acquisition by higher education applicants of professional experience from leading practitioners. And in this context, traditionally, since 2012. at this time, great professional assistance is provided to the Institute by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The practice of regular lectures, master classes by leading Ukrainian diplomats - employees of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine for applicants for higher education educational programs of the Institute of Educational Levels "Bachelor" and "Master" has been widely used since 2017 in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Institute of 30.05.2017 and proved its success.
During 2012-2023 heads and employees of Departments, Departments, departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine annually held interesting and thorough lectures and master classes for our applicants for higher education, which filled the educational process with practical knowledge and professional experience in specific areas of work.
This established tradition continues, for which the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv expresses its great sincere gratitude to all employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine involved in this process, who at this difficult time for the country expressed their readiness to transfer their professional practical knowledge and skills to the younger generation of future professionals in the field of international relations and foreign policy.
