European Business Law

Description: Master’s Programme in English “European Business Law” is designed for those interested in working with EU Law, and public and private law issues. It is designed with due regard to the experience of the leading European law schools.

The Programme covers in-depth studies in EU Law, business and economic law and their interaction and current trends. Special courses aim at enhancing professional skills necessary for representing states, organizations, and individuals before the EU institutions and organs, as well as for working with cases before the European Court of Justice.

European Business Law Master’s Programme is intended to prepare an outstanding and proficient expert in EU law.

Graduates of the European Business Law Master’s Programme will have enough knowledge and skills to run for positions at leading law firms, at public authorities related to EU, at legal departments of public and private companies engaged in export and import as well as at their associations. Also, the graduates will enable to independently analyse the trends of the practical application of the EU Law at international and foreign courts, prepare reference materials, and recommendations, provide expert advice etc.

 

Admission requirements:

  • LL.B (Bachelor of Law / Bachelor of International Law (including general courses on public international law and private international law).
  • Good working command of English

 

Degree on Graduation: LL.M in International Law (with special training in European Business Law).

Duration of the Programme: 3 semesters (1,5 years).

Language of the Programme: English.

The number of ECTS Credits: 90

 

Programme’s structure:

  1. Two semesters of academic studies
  2. One semester for writing Master’s thesis and internship
