The activities of the specialised academic council D 26.001.02 at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv have been extended

In accordance with the decision of the Attestation Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 7 October 2025, the activities of the specialised academic council D 26.001.02 at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv have been extended.

The council's profile: 08.00.20 — World Economy and International Economic Relations.

The council consists of 16 leading professors and associate professors in the field of international economic relations, including 11 scientists representing the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations, the Department of International Finance, and the Department of International Business of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The chair of the council is Doctor of Economics, Professor Nataliia Volodymyrivna Reznikova.

The deputy chair of the council is Doctor of Economics, Professor Olena Anatoliivna Pryatylchuk.

The scientific secretary of the council is Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor Liudmyla Oleksandrivna Shvorak.

The continuation of the activities of the Specialised Academic Council D 26.001.02 is important for supporting the sustainable development of the scientific school of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations, maintaining continuity in the training of highly qualified scientific personnel, and ensuring the continuity of dissertation defence procedures in the specialty "World Economy and International Economic Relations."

This decision by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine contributes to the further establishment of the scientific authority of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as a leading centre of economic science in Ukraine and Europe.
