Advanced Training of Trainers, organized by the Center for Countering Disinformation at the NSDC of Ukraine and Swedish Psychological Defense Agency

From November 20 to 24, 2023, associate professor of the Department of International Information, Oksana Zaporozhets, attended Advanced Training of Trainers, organized by the Center for Countering Disinformation at the NSDC of Ukraine and Swedish Psychological Defense Agency. The training was conducted by the experts of Swedish Psychological Defense Agency.

The purpose of the training is to provide participants with knowledge and skills necessary for the development of courses aimed at increasing the ability of target audiences to counter information influence campaigns.

The training covered such topics as: course and session plans; working with an adult audience; learning styles and training methods; course presentation techniques; positive and constructive feedback; roles of facilitator, teacher, instructor, and tutor; forms of learning outcomes assessment.

Due to a good combination of theory and practice (exercises, case studies, questions for discussion), the trainers managed to create a dynamic environment for learning and constantly maintain the interest and attention of the audience.
