Alexander Biryukov’s presentation at the international academic conference marking the 100th anniversary of UNIDROIT

Oleksandr Biryukov, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Private International Law at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and UNIDROIT Correspondent, spoke on July 9, 2026 at the international scientific conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) at the headquarters of this International Organization in Rome, Italy (Villa Aldobranbini). The presentation was devoted to the recodification of private law in Ukraine and the role of UNIDROIT in the development of civil legislation in the country.

During the three days of the conference, 68 scholar presentations were presented by the researchers in the field of unification of private law from 36 countries around the world.
