All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Ukraine's Foreign Economic Relations in the Context of the Russian-Ukrainian War"

On 23 October 2025, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Foreign Economic Relations of Ukraine in the Context of the Russian-Ukrainian War" was held, organised by the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations.

The conference focused on current challenges and transformations in Ukraine's foreign economic policy in the context of war. Key issues of foreign trade, investment, currency policy, labour migration, sanctions and regional development strategies for Ukraine were discussed during the event.

Professor Valery Kopiika, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. All members of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations, representatives of other departments of the Institute, scientists from various higher education institutions of Ukraine, as well as postgraduate students and students took part in the plenary session of the conference.

More than 70 representatives from over 20 higher education institutions, scientific institutions and organisations took part in the conference. The event became an important platform for the exchange of scientific ideas, views and practical experience on improving the state's foreign economic policy in the context of military challenges.

A collection of participants' abstracts will be published based on the results of the conference.
