Professor of the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy O. Koppel, together with postgraduate student A. Prystash, published an article entitled ‘International security organisations in the face of transformation of the international security system’ in the publication ‘Actual Problems of International Relations’. The article analyses the current crisis of the security architecture of the international relations system.
The article compares the key objectives of the NATO Strategic Concepts 2010 and 2022. In addition, the author analyses the priorities of international institutions in the implementation of their security responsibilities before and after the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The analysis of the activities of international security organisations proves that the issue of their adaptation to modern challenges and threats is important for further preservation of the dominance of the democratic system in the world.
