Associate Professor Bohdan Veselovskyi participated in the 2nd EUniWell Centre for Advanced Studies Symposium at the University of Konstanz

From 6 to 10 October 2025, Dr. Bohdan Veselovskyi, PhD in International Law and Associate Professor at the Department of Comparative and European Law, took part in the 2nd EUniWell Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS) Symposium, held at the University of Konstanz (Federal Republic of Germany).
The event, titled “Early Academic Careers – Transitioning between Systems in a Changing World”, brought together early-career researchers and scholars from EUniWell partner universities to discuss current challenges in academic career development, the role of inter-university cooperation, and the integration of the European research space.
During the symposium, Dr. Veselovskyi attended the practical workshop “Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education”, focused on the application of generative AI in teaching, actively contributed to interdisciplinary discussions on the role of Centres for Advanced Studies in supporting young researchers, and joined the strategic session “The Evolution of the EUniWell Centre for Advanced Studies”.

He also presented a series of concrete proposals to further develop CAS, including:
- the creation of a mentorship programme for researchers from post-Soviet countries to familiarise them with Western academic methodologies and standards;
- the development of an online platform for finding co-authors and research consultants on specific topics;
- and the drafting of joint EUniWell recommendations on academic integrity, scientific cooperation, and researcher mobility.
These initiatives aim to facilitate deeper integration of Ukrainian science into the European research area and open new opportunities for early-career researchers from Ukraine.
