BANKRUPTCY TALKS-7 on the topic “SELF-GOVERNANCE IN THE PROFESSION OF ARBITRATION MANAGER”

September 30, 2025, the BANKRUPTCY CENTER held a meeting in the format of BANKRUPTCY TALKS-7 on the topic “SELF-GOVERNANCE IN THE PROFESSION OF ARBITRATION MANAGER.”
A special guest was Serhii Donkov, Doctor of Philosophy in Law, arbitration manager, talked about the formation of the self-governance in the world with reference to the peculiarities in the United States in the 1930s and in Ukraine.
The distinguished guest outlined the peculiarities of self-regulation in certain professions, dwelling in detail on the main stages of development of this aspect of the profession of arbitration managers in Ukraine, explaining the reasons for the change of the conceptual model in the 2010s. The speaker shared his thoughts on the principles of self-regulation in this profession, its place in the system of regulating relations between state bodies and representatives of the profession, as well as the prospects for the development of the system in the process of reforming bankruptcy legislation. The participants were interested in issues related to ethics and disciplinary responsibility, as well as the participation of arbitration managers in the governing bodies of the National Association of Arbitration Managers.
