Bankruptcy Talks with the topic "Remuneration of the Arbitration Managers” (Insolvency practitioners)

BANKRUPTCY CENTER of Business School of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko national University of Kyiv held on September 10, 2025 a traditional Bankruptcy Talks with the topic "Remuneration of the Arbitration Managers” (Insolvency practitioners) within a series of professional discussions on bankruptcy law reform.
The participants of the meeting discussed the current state of regulation of such an important element of the bankruptcy system – compensation for the work of arbitration managers.
Permanent participants in the Bankruptcy Center tried to assess an approach to the arbitration manager work compensation, chosen in Ukraine, in terms of efficiency, as well as fairness.
The conversation also happened about similar approaches in other professions. Everyone agreed that the ideal approach should be such that takes into account the interests of all participants in the inability to pay debts, particularly the debtor and creditors. For them, this should not an additional encumbrance, as they have already suffered losses on debt. For these purposes, participants of the meeting refer to similar systems that exist in other countries.
The main conclusion was the understanding of what the system of payment for arbitration managers as the main participants in bankruptcy proceedings should be.
