Business trip of V. Mazurenko to Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences

From November 9 to 23, 2024, Associate Professor of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations Valeriy Mazurenko was on a business trip to the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences in Heilbronn, Federal Republic of Germany.

Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences is one of the leading higher education institutions in the state of Baden-Württemberg, with more than 8,000 students pursuing degrees across its three campuses: Heilbronn, Künzelsau, and Schwäbisch Hall.

The purpose of the business trip was to deliver a 30-hour lecture course on "Economic Studies: Eastern Europe" for third-year undergraduate students of the Faculty of International Business.

During the trip, new contacts were established, and further collaboration with professors from the host university was discussed. It was also an opportunity to share expertise and skills with students and colleagues and to provide an in-depth overview of the specifics of the educational process in Ukraine during the full-scale aggression by the Russian Federation.

The faculty initiated an invitation for Associate Professor Mazurenko to teach this lecture course in the summer semester of 2025.
