Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations (ESIIR) Develops International Acedemic Cooperation

With the support of the KNU International Relations Office, the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations (ESIIR) hosted a meeting between Marina Rebenko, a lecturer at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), Professor Valentyna V. Daineko, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages at ERIIR, and Professor Oleksandr M. Hon, Professor of the Department.

The meeting focused on the experience of ESIIR and FAU in teaching foreign languages, contemporary teaching and assessment methodologies, the development of educational programmes, quality assurance in language education, and the integration of digital technologies into the educational process.

Marina Rebenko also became acquainted with the abilities for practical training of conference interpreters at ESIIR, including its specialised simultaneous interpreting laboratories, and with the new educational programme "International Relations and Translation”.

The programme has been developed in accordance with the standards of the European Master's in Translation (EMT) network and prepares specialists for careers in EU institutions, international organisations, and public authorities. It also equips graduates with the competencies required for translating EU legal acts and Ukrainian legislation within the framework of Ukraine's European integration process.

Such meetings constitute an important component of ESIIR's international academic cooperation. They facilitate the exchange of educational experience, promote the adoption of best practices from European universities, and contribute to the integration of contemporary approaches into the Institute's educational process.
