Educational lecture ‘Law: First Steps’ for students of 9-10 grades from the Institute of International Relations

On 17 March 2025 the Institute of International Relations hosted an educational event dedicated to law and its role in society, organised by the Legal Department and the Private Challenges Club of the Department of Private International Law.

Professors of the Department of Private International Law and students explained the basics of international law, intellectual property law and covered human rights.

Interactive games helped students to understand law enforcement, analyse legal situations, and identify human rights violations in the proposed cases.

The meeting ended with a discussion on European integration, where participants compared the challenges for an imaginary country with the process of Ukraine's accession to the EU.

This event helped students to better understand the basics of law, its various branches, both nationally and internationally, and to gain new knowledge in an interactive format, thanks to the thorough training of teachers and students.
