Enrolment to the School of Young Ukrainian Diplomats course from 15 March to 17 May 2025
We are pleased to announce that the School of Young Ukrainian Diplomat of the IIR Business School of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, with the support of the Ukrainian Foreign Policy Association, is now accepting applications for an online course.
Course duration: from 15 March to 17 May 2025.
We invite young people: school students (grades 9-11) and students of higher education institutions.
Graduates of the School will receive a Diploma in Ukrainian and English.

Class schedule: online meetings and lectures 2-3 times a week.
Working days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: 17.00 - 18.30 (Kyiv time).
The total duration of the course is 40 academic hours (20 online meetings).
In addition, the School participants have the opportunity to participate in online and offline events of our partners:
- The Ukrainian Foreign Policy Association,
- the Directorate General for the Service of Foreign Missions,
- GDIP Media Centre,
- the Scientific Society for the History of Diplomacy and International Relations,
- the Association ‘Spouses of Ukrainian Diplomats’,
- the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
- the Foreign Policy Council ‘Ukrainian Prism’ and others.
The course participants get acquainted with the field of diplomacy, peculiarities of international relations, world politics, Ukraine's place in the international arena, relations with the EU and NATO, tools of public diplomacy, as well as professional skills of diplomats through the
- communication with Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary - members of the Ukrainian Foreign Policy Association;
- online meetings within the framework of the public diplomacy project #OpenUkrainianDiplomacy - communication with Ukrainian diplomats working abroad,
- consultations with experts of the Diplomacy: international relations, etiquette, protocol centre. Expert centre
- the opportunity to participate in protocol events of our partners.
While studying at the School, participants will get acquainted with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, see the importance of obtaining higher education, and, thanks to the faculty, learn about the specialities of international relations at the Educational and Research Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv:

- country studies,
- international economic relations,
- international business,
- international communications.
- international law.
It is important for the School to meet the demands of the times and to introduce our participants to the opportunities offered by meetings with representatives of various international organisations and students of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Participants have the opportunity to strengthen their personal competences and skills by taking part in trainings by our speakers on future career coaching, public speaking, diplomatic etiquette, media literacy, critical thinking and soft skills development.
