Final of the Second All-Ukrainian Essay Writing Competition on the topic: "Modern Ukrainian Diplomacy: Synergy of Human and Artificial Intelligence in Defending National Interests"
On 5 December 2025, the final of the Second All-Ukrainian Essay Writing Competition on the topic "Modern Ukrainian Diplomacy: Synergy of Human and Artificial Intelligence in Defending National Interests" was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
A total of 252 applications were received from students from 46 higher education institutions across Ukraine, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Odesa, Uzhhorod, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Kherson, Kramatorsk, and others. After reviewing the written works, 10 students were selected for the final round, where they presented the results of their essays in a public debate.

1st place: Kateryna Mashoshina — Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, 4th year student of International Law;
2nd place: Anna Kryzhanivska — Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, 4th year student of International Law;
3rd place: Maria Krasilnikova — Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, 2nd year student of International Law;
4th place: Vasyl Vasylenko — Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University;
5th place: Tetiana Lyubchenko — Polissia National University.

The winners received not only cash prizes, but also the opportunity to undergo internships at the National Bar Association of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and law firms. Thank you for your active participation in the competition! We wish you further success!
The competition was organised by the Institute of International Law and Diplomacy of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in cooperation with the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Ukrainian National Bar Association and the law firm Popko Brothers & Partners.
