IIR, in collaboration with the Leonid Kuchma ‘Ukraine’ Presidential Foundation, is announcing a nationwide competition for academic papers open to students specialising in ‘International Law’
The Institute of International Relations, in collaboration with the Leonid Kuchma ‘Ukraine’ Presidential Foundation, announces a nationwide competition for academic papers open to students specialising in ‘International Law’.
Topics for academic papers:
- The current state and future of democratic institutions worldwide and their impact on the international legal order
- Current challenges to the system of international nuclear arms control: the current state and prospects for regulation under international law
- Ukraine’s role in shaping the modern system of international security at the universal and regional levels
The research paper should present the author’s own perspective on the chosen issue and propose practical solutions that would be beneficial to Ukraine.
Winners will receive cash scholarships from the Leonid Kuchma ‘Ukraine’ Presidential Foundation.
The best research papers will form the basis for articles in a special collection.
To enter, please prepare a paper of 15–20 pages in Ukrainian or English and complete the participant’s application form.
