IIR Faculty Member Completes Oxford Saïd Business School and UNESCO Course on AI and Digital Transformation
Viktoriia Khomenko, Assistant Professor at the Department of Private International Law, has completed the AI and Digital Transformation in Government course, developed by Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, in partnership with UNESCO. Upon completion, she received a certificate from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and UNESCO.
The course focuses on digital transformation in the public sector, including education. Its key components include the use of artificial intelligence and associated risks, human rights and ethical aspects of emerging technologies, data governance, privacy, non-discrimination, transparency, and human oversight of AI-assisted decision-making.
The course also emphasized hands-on work with AI tools and the responsible, people-centered implementation of digital solutions.
