IIR KNU team represented Ukraine at the 2026 Philip Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition
The team from the Institute of International Law and International Relations at Kyiv National University represented Ukraine at the 2026 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. — the world’s largest moot court competition, which brings together participants from over 100 countries. During the oral rounds, the team received high marks from the judges, demonstrating a high level of legal analysis and advocacy skills on the international stage.
The team consisted of students from the Institute of International Law and International Relations:

- Natalia Aleksyk
- Myroslava Kalynovska
- Vladyslava Monia
The team’s coaches were Olga Poedinok and Manuel Ayrapetov, lecturers from the Department of International Law at the Institute of International Law and International Relations, whose experience and dedication played a decisive role in the team’s preparation and performance.
The competition required months of hard work on written submissions and oral presentations covering complex issues of public international law.
