Join the online discussion: The Return of Russia? Post-war strategy and Western responses

анонс

The war against Ukraine has fundamentally changed Russia - not only its place on the world stage, but also its domestic political and economic trajectory. What will Russia look like after the war? And how should the West respond?

This event will present the key findings of our new study ‘Russia's Role in the Post-War World Order’ and invite a broader expert discussion on Russia's future role and the strategic dilemmas it poses for the EU, NATO and the United States.

Key topics for discussion:

  • What will post-war Russia look like and how will it seek to reassert its influence in the world?
  • Will the EU be able to strike a balance between economic pragmatism and strategic deterrence, and is NATO ready for a long-term confrontation?
  • What will be the future US policy towards Russia?

The event will include a keynote presentation by the Centre for Transatlantic Dialogue and a panel discussion with international experts, as well as a Q&A session.

Speakers:

  • Juraj Majczyn, Policy Analyst at the European Policy Centre (EPC).
  • Maria Domanska, Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW).
  • Michael DiCianna, Research Fellow at the Centre for Intermarium Studies at the Institute of World Policy.
  • Moderator: Daryna Sydorenko, Research Director at the Centre for Transatlantic Dialogue.
