Lecture by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Lebanon (2016-2022) Ihor Ostash

On 27 March 2025, with the assistance of the Department of International Organisations and Diplomatic Service, a lecture was held by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Lebanon (2016-2022) Ihor Ostash on the topic: ‘The role of the Foreign Ministry in promoting Ukrainian culture abroad during the Russian aggression against Ukraine on the example of the Middle East’ within the discipline ‘Humanitarian Factor in World Politics’ for 2nd year students of the Bachelor's degree programme in Country Studies. 

Igor Ivanovych spoke about the peculiarities of Ukraine's cultural diplomacy in Lebanon. He focused on the peculiarities of Lebanon's history, religion and culture. The lecturer shared with the students his personal experience of creating modern cultural diplomacy projects and their results.
