Lecture by Bohdan Ilchenko, a solicitor and associate in the banking practice of CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang

«Private Challenges,» the Student Club of the Department of Private International Law, and the Legal Department of the Student Council at the IIR continue their series of events on «The Legal Profession.» On March 24, 2025, at the invitation of 4IL student Liudmyla Stryzhak, a lecture was given by Bohdan Ilchenko, a solicitor and associate in the banking practice of CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang. Mr. Ilchenko spoke about obtaining the status of a solicitor in England, the difficulties to be overcome, and the benefits of receiving it. 

The audience's questions concerned the peculiarities of the financial services market in England and Ukraine, cooperation with financial corporations, and cultural differences between the two countries that may affect the profession.

«Nothing is impossible,» the speaker summarized.
