Lecture “The European Convention of Human Rights as a Treaty” by Dr Mykola Gnatovskyy

Students of the University are invited to join an online meeting with Dr Mykola Gnatovskyy, judge of the European Court of Human Rights. The videoconference will be held as a part of the English-language course on the Law of Treaties.
Within the topic “The European Convention of Human Rights as a Treaty” we will discuss, in particular, various features of the international treaty regime of collective protection of human rights created by the ECHR, temporal and territorial application of the Convention and protocols thereto, reservations to, derogations from and interpretation of the Convention, termination of participation in the Convention and so on.
The event will be held in English and will start on 29 March 2024 at 11:10 AM (Kyiv time). To participate please fill in a short registration form that will remain active until 11:00 on 29 March 2024.
If your wish to take part in the event coincides with your having another class according to the schedule, you are requested to obtain a permission to be absent from the respective member of the faculty.
