Lecture by Igor Tumasov on ‘The Role and Place of Ukraine in Modern International Relations with the Americas’

On 08 May 2025, with the assistance of the Department of International Organisations and Diplomatic Service, a meeting was held with the Deputy Director of the Department, Head of the Division of the Third Territorial Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Tumasov. The lecture was held with the 2nd year students of the Bachelor's degree programme ‘International Relations’ in the format of the discipline ‘Foreign Policy of Ukraine’.

The topic of the lecture was: ‘Ukraine's role and place in modern international relations with North and South America’.  Ihor Yuriiovych told the students that international organisations as a form of international cooperation and multilateral diplomacy play an extremely important role at the present stage. He drew attention to the global level of Ukraine's capabilities, which have become extremely limited after it got rid of nuclear weapons and significantly reduced its military and economic potential.
