Lecture by Lesia Ogryzko at the IIR

On May 22, 2026, a lecture by Lesia Ogryzko, Director and Co-founder of Sahaidachnyi Security Center, an expert in international relations and international security, and an alumna of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, took place at the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations.

During the meeting, the speaker shared her professional experience working in think tanks, international organizations, and the public sector, and also spoke about the specifics of building a career in an international environment.

Particular attention was paid to:

▫️ current trends in international security and analytical research;

▫️ the specifics of working in think tanks and international institutions;

▫️ the development of professional skills and building a career trajectory;

▫️ possible career paths for international relations specialists.

Students had the opportunity not only to learn more about the practical side of working in the field of international relations, but also to receive valuable advice on professional development, internships, networking, and finding their own professional direction after graduation.
