лекція

On April 10, Oleksandr Shumylo, a graduate of International Information/International Communications and a partner of the IT company The Gradient, gave a lecture on using artificial intelligence to analyze various types of data. The lecture was held within the discipline ‘Foreign Policy Analysis’ for 3rd-year students of the EP ‘International Communications’ (organizers - Prof. Nataliia Pipchenko and Prof. Mykola Ryzhkov).

Oleksandr spoke about the capabilities of various AI tools to analyze information, which will be useful in professional diplomatic and communication work for:

  • creating thematic databases and generating reports in one click;
  • facilitating daily functional diplomatic duties, especially in the consular sphere;
  • ensuring the transmission, storage, and processing of political and diplomatic data;
  • monitoring the information space, and identifying trends or imbalances;
  • preparing text and visual data; translating information;
  • accelerating decision-making capabilities based on real-time data, predictive analysis, and scenario modelling;
  • understanding global trends and issues;
  • optimizing resource allocation and improving diplomatic performance.

Students’ ability to use artificial intelligence tools to search and process large amounts of data is an important professional skill, but we always emphasize the fair use of such tools.

Thank you for the useful knowledge!
