On April 17, 2026, with the assistance of the Department of International Organizations and the Diplomatic Service of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, a practical professional meeting was held with Roman KOTOVYCH, Head of the Department of Protocol Support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. This master class was held with students of the 1st year of higher education of the "Master's" OP "Diplomacy and International Cooperation" in the format of the academic discipline "Multilateral Diplomacy in the Modern World" (Assoc. Professor Viacheslav TSIVATYI). Topic of the master class: "Protocol, protocol and ceremonial practices in multilateral diplomacy."

The lecture was devoted to the practice of organizing and conducting protocol events in international organizations, summit diplomacy, conference diplomacy, and forum diplomacy. The lecturer described in detail the ceremonial features of visits at high and the highest levels, national features in multilateral diplomacy when conducting diplomatic events of various levels.

Of particular interest to students of higher education during the discussion is Roman KOTOVYCHfifteen-year practical experience in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and during long-term foreign missions to the state of Israel, especially in the conditions of martial law in Ukraine.
