Lecture by Volodymyr Anatoliiovych Khomanets, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Tunisian Republic and the State of Libya

On January 29, 2026, as part of the course “Economic Diplomacy” (taught by PhD in Economics, Associate Professor N. M. Rylach), the Department of International Organizations and Diplomatic Service hosted a lecture delivered by Volodymyr Anatoliiovych Khomanets, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Tunisian Republic and the State of Libya.

During the lecture, the role and practical instruments of economic diplomacy in protecting Ukraine’s economic interests, strengthening its economic potential, and promoting national products on global markets were discussed.

Special attention was paid to key areas of international cooperation, including education, human capital development, exports of pharmaceutical products and grain, medical tourism, and food security issues.

The lecturer also addressed Ukraine’s foreign economic policy, the activities of the Council of Exporters and Investors, the MFA’s digital platform NAZOVNI, as well as Ukraine’s cooperation with international economic organizations.

The lecture successfully combined theoretical knowledge with practical diplomatic experience and sparked significant interest among students.
