Master Class by Olena Yalova on the topic of "Protocol and ceremonial requirements for the organization of visits at high and highest levels"

08/04/2024  within the framework of the discipline «Diplomatic Protocol and Etiquette» for students in the 2nd year of the "International Relations" bachelor's program, the director of the Department General for State Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ms Olena Yalova, gave a lecture. 

The topic of "Protocol and ceremonial requirements for the organization of visits at high and highest levels" aroused great interest among students. Ms. Olena Yalova familiarized the students with the traditions and procedures for organizing visits of foreign delegations, drawing up visit programs, ensuring organizational and protocol requirements for the stay of foreign guests in Ukraine and participating in official events. 

Ms Olena paid special attention to the issues of Ukrainian diplomatic practice under martial law, namely: the protocol of delegation meetings, algorithms for actions in case of security threats, peculiarities of giving protocol gifts and many other nuances of modern diplomatic practice.
