Masterclass by Georgiy Erman, a journalist from the Ukrainian branch of the BBC

Georgiy Erman, a journalist from the Ukrainian service of the BBC, conducted a master class on November 2, 2023, at the invitation of the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy. The class was aimed at students enrolled in the International Relations program, which includes the mandatory study of two foreign languages. 

Mr. Erman, a graduate of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and a recipient of special awards in the "Honor of the Profession" competition in both 2021 and 2023, shared insights into the unique aspects and contemporary challenges of international journalism. He also drew from his personal experience in reporting on international relations issues.

In addition, Mr. Erman shed light on the distinctive characteristics of this field within our country and offered his perspective on the essential skills and valuable professional techniques required for international journalists.
