Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine

On 14 May 2024, students of the Educational and Research Institute of International Relations joined a lecture by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine Kim Hyun Tae on "The experience of the Republic of Korea's development and its benefits for Ukraine" at the Educational and Research Institute of Philology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

During the meeting with the students, the Ambassador spoke about the history of the Republic of Korea as a state after difficult years in its history. The guests also noted important aspects of the economic and cultural development of the Republic of Korea.

Students of the Institute of International Relations took an active part in the discussion during the lecture, and asked questions related to the position of the Republic of Korea in the international arena, namely about cultural diplomacy within the United Nations.

The Ambassador also spoke in detail about the bilateral relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea, especially about their state during the full-scale invasion, answering the questions of the student of the Institute of International Relations.

At the end of the meeting, the guest noted that the Government of the Republic of Korea plans to expand the opportunities for Ukrainian students to study in Korean higher education institutions and learn the Korean language.
