Meeting of students of the Institute of International Relations with Bohdan Pavlovych Movchan
On 28 October 2025, with the assistance of the Department of International Organisations and Diplomatic Service of the Institute of International Relations and Diplomacy, a meeting was held with the Deputy Head of the Office of the World Ukrainian Community and Humanitarian Initiatives, Head of the Humanitarian Initiatives Division of the Department of Public Diplomacy and Communications, Bohdan Pavlovych Movchan, and second-year Master's students majoring in International Relations as part of the discipline Multilateral Diplomacy and Mechanisms for Regulating Contemporary International Relations. second-year students, Master's programme, International Relations, as part of the course Multilateral Diplomacy and Mechanisms for Regulating Contemporary International Relations.
Mr. Bohdan Movchan gave a lecture to the students on "The Influence of Religion on International Relations; Multilateral Diplomacy and the Protection of International Religious Freedom." The lecture was very interesting and informative. Mr. Bohdan Pavlovych explained how multilateral diplomacy aims to establish international legal norms that guarantee the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, as enshrined, in particular, in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. He also discussed the mechanisms used by international organisations and specialised agencies. The students were enthusiastic about the lecture and asked the lecturer many questions.
