Meeting with Taras Chmut at IIR

Зустріч із Тарасом Чмутом

On November 1, within the walls of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations, a meeting was held with Taras Chmut - the head of the Come Back Alive Foundation, a military analyst and the founder of the Ukrainian Military Center - organized by the Volunteer Department of the Students Council of IIR. The meeting was attended by students of various educational programs and training courses. All guests had the opportunity to ask Mr. Taras a question.

The discussion included a discussion of Ukraine's information policy in a state of war, with Mr. Taras warning about the reasonable perception of the news that we see and hear: "What we see is not always what it seems." Our students also remembered the Black Box project, which, according to the guest, will soon celebrate its anniversary.

There were many questions about whether Ukraine can independently cover the needs for the production of weapons, to which Mr. Taras replied that this is already successfully happening in the field of programming. But the "hard" component still remains with foreign partners, because this is the most rational option.

The guest told more about the charity organization and the public organization "Come back alive," which are completely different things. However, they have a common basis: a well-chosen target audience, brand and competence. These are the factors that made them so famous and well-known not only in Ukraine but all over the world.
