Model United Nations 2025

On 12-13 April 2025, the Educational and Research Institute of International Relations hosted MUN IIR 2025, an educational event in the UN model format that brought together more than 140 participants from all over Ukraine. 

For two days, the participants represented UN member states, worked in 8 committees, discussed international security, human rights, and environmental policy, and drafted resolutions in accordance with the procedures of real UN meetings. 

The event provided young people with the opportunity to experience the role of diplomats, improve their skills in public speaking, teamwork, debate and argumentation in the field of international law and relations. 

A pleasant conclusion was the awarding ceremony for the best delegates: Maria Petrova, Nikita Prykhodko, Myroslava Chychkan, Anastasia Shybylist, students of the Institute of International Relations; Sofia Khoda, student of the National Academy of Arts and Sciences of Ukraine; Anna Ushchapivska, student of Lyceum No. 167; and Isabella Domuz, student of the International French School. The Estonian Mission in Ukraine prepared gifts for the participants who demonstrated exceptional preparation, activity and analytical thinking. 

The event was organised by the joint efforts of the Scientific, Legal, Cultural Departments of the RS NRIMS and the Ambassador Diplomatic and Political Club.
