New Monograph by Professor Anatolii Dovgert!

We congratulate Anatolii Dovgert, Doctor of Law and Professor at the Department of Private International Law of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations, on the publication of his monograph Ukrainian Civil Law: Transformations. Part One.

The new work is devoted to the dramatic transformations that Ukrainian civil law has undergone over the past century: from the conversion of private law into public law and the difficult movement in the opposite direction to private-law codification at the turn of the millennium and the contemporary renewal of civil legislation through recodification.

The monograph traces a complex path of fundamental importance to Ukrainian law—from the dismantling of private-law foundations to their restoration and further development.

We hope that this significant scholarly work will reach a wide and appreciative readership, and we wish Professor Dovgert new ideas and further scholarly achievements.
