Online lecture by Dmytro Deineko, a consular officer of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand

On 17 November 2025, students and lecturers of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations joined an online lecture by Dmytro Deineko, a consular officer of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Thailand and a Doctor of Philosophy in Law.

The event was dedicated to the topic “ASEAN: Asian regional integration, security challenges, and external partners” and was organized with the support of the ASEAN Countries Research Center.

During the lecture, Dmytro Deineko outlined the key stages of ASEAN’s development, presented the main areas of cooperation between the member states and international partners, and highlighted promising points of interaction between Ukraine and the countries of Southeast Asia.

Students were also able to take part in an interactive quiz on the development and activities of ASEAN, join a lively discussion, and ask the lecturer relevant questions regarding the transformation of the system of international relations in the Asian region.
