Online lecture by Mercedes Somosierra on "Protecting human rights in armed conflicts"

We invite you to an online lecture by Mercedes Somosierra, an Argentine lawyer, a member of the Latin American Association for Peace Research (CLAIP) and a civil servant in the Argentine Ministry of Security.

She is co-author of the recently published book Teaching Peace amidst Conflict and Postcolonialism (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2023). In 2011, Ms. Somosierra was appointed by the Institute of Human Rights at the National University of La Plata to assess the human rights education situation in secondary schools in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, as a researcher.

The lecture "Protection of human rights in armed conflicts" will be held on February 20 at 15:00 on the Zoom platform.
