Open lecture "The Dissolution of the USSR and Nuclear Non-Proliferation"

The relevant topic of nuclear non-proliferation was addressed in an open lecture by Professor Sergey Halaka of the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy.

On November 7, 2023, an open lecture was held by Dr. of Political Science, Professor of the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy, Sergey Pavlovich Halaka, on the subject of "The Dissolution of the USSR and Nuclear Non-Proliferation." 

The lecturer delved into the history of the division of the Soviet nuclear potential, how all of this weaponry ended up under Russian control and the consequences of such political decisions for Ukraine and the world. 

This lecture served as another presentation of the research findings of leading experts from the National Institute for Strategic Studies (NNISS) for students and the general public interested in contemporary issues in international relations.
